Pages: 608
Price: $12.23 ( hardcover), $9.99 ( papreback)
E-Book: $6.51

Sadly we're at the last book of this wonderful series!!! I have to say that this book really raps it up really well, actually sometimes sagas don't have a nice ending. Unlike the other book this one is really interesting and intriguing and it has a good plot. Its' nice because it's almost a reunion of all the previous characters.
Rose is in jail for soppused murder of queen Tatiana and will be practically justiced, as in killed, in a month since they are certain of her being guilty.
Her friends decide to get her out of jail during the queen's funeral and run away with Dimitri.
They meet up with Sydney, the alchemist from the fourth book and they go first to a hotel in the middle of nowhere. Rose gets fustraited because she can't do anything to help her friends in court to clear her name, so tries to runaway, involving even the police, so they are forced to go to hide with these vampire who live in a different way than moroi.
She starts to try to find Lissa's sister and she does and brings her to court.
I don't really want to give away to much of the plot so as not to ruin all the suprise for you.
I really liked this book, my favourite parts are when Rose and Dimitri  escape from the jail and they are chased by the guardians, it really seemed like fast and furious!! I also liked when they found out who actually murdered the queen and I have to say I knew it all aling it was that person...
Wonderful book, when I finished it I got kind of emotional!!!

Number of Pages: 496
Price: $9.96
E-Book Price: $6.59

Finally we are at the 5th book in this series and my favourite one!!!
It's the best book in the series in my opinion because it has everything that the other book had but in pieces: it has action, romance, mystery...
The book picks up, like always, from the previos book. Rose is back at the academy and is worring about a letter sent by Dimitri, not only proving that he is STILL alive, but also he plans to kill her!
Meanwhile, she has to do her final exam and passes with the highest score EVER! She and the gang leave the academy to go to court, where Rose is having qiute a hard time fitting in with the work place. She decides to look for Victor in prison to ask him where his brother is who supposely turned back a strigoi. Rose, Lissa and Eddie manage to do so and go with Victor to Vegas to meet his brother. Adrian, who has finally been dating Rose, manages to find where they were and gets quite upset because Rose didm't tell him anything. It really bothers me how Rose treats him like his some stupid dog ,taking him for granted, and doesn't really realise what a good guy he is. The hotel they're in gets attached and Rose fights against Dimitri. When they get back to court Rose and Eddie are punished. Lissa, on a trip to her future school, gets kidnapped by Dimitri. Rose warners the other guardians of what is happening and while they are fighting Lissa manages to turn Dimitri back to his normal state. Rose thinks that now that he is back to being a dhampir he wants her back again, but it's the opposite: he doesn't even want to speak to her. In the end of the book Rose is arrested for killing the queen ( major cliffhanger!!!). What I really like about this book that there is a lot of action scene which are described very weel and you can also picture what is happening. It's really easy to read and you will get hooked on it right away!!! Though I can't say I love because by now I can't stand Rose she is such a loser and a whiner who doesn't stop thinking about Dimitri. It's not even fair towards Adrian( I totally love him, he's my prince charming).

Review : Firelight - Vanish

 Vanish by Sophie Jordan

An Impossible Romance.

Bitter Rivalries.

Deadly Choices.

To save the life of the boy she loves, Jacinda did the unthinkable: She betrayed the most closely guarded secret of her kind. Now she must return to the protection of her pride knowing she might never see Will again—and worse, that because his mind has been shaded, Will’s memories of that fateful night and why she had to flee are gone.

Back home, Jacinda is greeted with hostility and must work to prove her loyalty for both her sake and her family’s. Among the few who will even talk to her are Cassian, the pride’s heir apparent who has always wanted her, and her sister, Tamra, who has been forever changed by a twist of fate. Jacinda knows that she should forget Will and move on—that if he managed to remember and keep his promise to find her, it would only endanger them both. Yet she clings to the hope that someday they will be together again. When the chance arrives to follow her heart, will she risk everything for love?

In bestselling author Sophie Jordan’s dramatic follow-up to Firelight, forbidden love burns brighter than ever.
Pages : 309
Price : $9,99
E-Book Price : $8,00

So this book is the second instalment in the Firelight trilogy by Sophie Jordan. It picks up where the first book left off : Jacinda, Tamra( her sister) and Cassian (the prince of the tribe and Jacinda's future husband according to his father) are going back to the tribe after Jacinda revealed her true nature to the hunters. We learn more about the draki world because it takes place in the tribe and let me say, I understand why Jacinda's mom ran away form it:it's like a fascist regime!!!!
Since these books are written in the protagonist p.o.v. , I always thought that Jacinda's mom was a little exaggerated when she described to her her daughter their plan for her, but know I totally think she was right and so does Jacinda! I thinks it's really sad how they treat her and her family after she comes back ( on her own will) and I felt very oppressed. It just seems that everything she always counted on and believed in, is all so different and you just feel so bad for her, because nothing goes well for her. That's the only thing I did not like about the book.
My favourite part of the book is, of course, the relationship between Will and Jacinda!
Most of you are probaly thinking that Will was going to be out of the picture now, but he kept his promise to Jacinda and finds her. I don't want to give awy any spoilers, but you will be really suprised at what happens to them.
So this book isn't as good as the first but it was still very intriguing and I do recommend it!!!

Review: Firelight

Firelight by Sophie Jordan

A hidden truth.

Mortal enemies.

Doomed love.

Marked as special at an early age, Jacinda knows her every move is watched. But she longs for freedom to make her own choices. When she breaks the most sacred tenet among her kind, she nearly pays with her life. Until a beautiful stranger saves her. A stranger who was sent to hunt those like her. For Jacinda is a draki—a descendant of dragons whose greatest defense is her secret ability to shift into human form.
Forced to flee into the mortal world with her family, Jacinda struggles to adapt to her new surroundings. The only bright light is Will. Gorgeous, elusive Will who stirs her inner draki to life. Although she is irresistibly drawn to him, Jacinda knows Will's dark secret: He and his family are hunters. She should avoid him at all costs. But her inner draki is slowly slipping away—if it dies she will be left as a human forever. She'll do anything to prevent that. Even if it means getting closer to her most dangerous enemy.
Mythical powers and breathtaking romance ignite in this story of a girl who defies all expectations and whose love crosses an ancient divide.
Pages: 340
Price Hardcover: $9.98
Price Paper-back: $4.00
Price E-book: $ 8.00

I have to admit I never have read a book about dragons and ingeneral I don't know much about these beautiful and mysterious creautures, so I was really excited to read this book. Usually I read books about witches and vampires, so I was also very interested to read something new!
And I have to say this book is really intriging! I love the world  that is presented in this novel! It starts with Jacinda, the prtagonist, who gets in trouble quite often. She wants to be more free bot can't due to the fact that she is the ONLY fire-breathing dragon in her tribe ( FYI there are all different types of dragons, who have different powers), so she is very controlled by the tribe. But after this last stunt, the tribe wants to punish her severly, so her mom decides to leave and go to the human world.
The book is about how she deals with these new changes, fitting in and of course forbidden love...
I really liked Jacinda and even thought she is a dragon, I can really relate to her and I think anybody could. You would think that since she is a dragon she would be totally dfferent from a normal teenage girl, but I have to say she has the same problems as any of us teens. I love how the author describes how hard it is for her to fit in, dealing with bullying and P.E.. And I totally fell in love with Will: he is so mysterious but really romantic and sweet.
I really advice this book to everybody!! You will really fall in love with the Drakis!!

Price: $11.98
e-Book Price : $ 7.99
Pages: 304

This book is the sequel to of L.J Smith's The Secret Circle series, but the series was taken from her by Harper teen (along with The Vampire Diaries series). Then Harper Teen got a ghost writter to write the series. This is obvious because the characters are completely different from the originally series, and unfortunatly very much like the TV series. When reading this book you feel as though the "author" is trying to stay true to the original story, putting some elements of the previous books, but not succeding in this. It's a different story that is somewhat a reminder of The Secret Circle. Also the original books were written during the 90s( so there weren't cell phones or stuff like that) instead in this book there are all of these stuff. Aubrey Clark's New Salem is very different from L.J.'s New Salem and again the decription is similar to the town in the TV series. Cassie and Adam are soulmates but they make out in this book, which makes the story really monotnous. It feels very Twilightish!! *****SPOILER****Then also the fact that Cassie finds out that she has this sister who supposedly is also a witch and her mom was part of the previous circle is ridiculous because it was said in the previous books that the circle was composed by the parents of the present day circle!!****END OF SPOILER******
So to wrap it up, I absolutely didn't like this book!! It was to much like the tv series and I advise you to not buy it!!! It was totally awful, boring and non original. Many fans of the true series didn't buy it because it wasn't written by L.J. Smith.

                                                               ITALIANO
Smith.
Baci da Mary Lynnette
